I’m a little bit flummoxed that I haven’t yet written a review for this, yet, because I’ve been using it consistently in my quest for handmade shadowboxes this year!Although these are perfectly sized for making Christmas cards, I decided to use this lovely assortment of green and red cardstock to, instead, help me learn how to build shadowboxes using my Brother ScanNCut cutting machine. The principle is simple: to create layers of silhouettes that build up a scene, like a diorama. I’m okay with it requiring patience and planning, the difficult part was that it requires quite a large number of sheets of paper, all in the same size and shape. I could cut these all out myself, but it becomes grueling to continually cut out the base shape when you’re still in the learning phase and liable to use many sheets of paper. Thus, this set became perfect! The nice part about having this in red and green is that, if I have any spares left over once I’m done, I can use them to create some last-minute ornaments for the tree! Our tree has ornaments in shades of red, and the fir-green accents would add some lovely contrast, too! These are just so useful in so many ways!!!
