Description Premium ESD coil cord from Bondline provides a strong connection to ground. This cord can be stretched and recoiled back to its original length, helping to keep a clear working area for efficiency and comfort. Unlike many other ESD cords, our premium ESD coil cord is made with a double thickness material to provide outer layer insulation for complete operator safety. Designed to be used in an ESD working area. The body housing of the coil cord contains a female snap in any sizes of 4mm, 7mm and 10mm, with or without a resistor, joined in series to the conductor with ordinary banana plug of another snap on the other end. The ground end of the cord is moulded with a single nylon material (strain relief/body housing). The coil cord is insulated with PU material. The plastic parts of the coil cord are made with anti-static nylon materials. Premium ESD coil cord has been manufactured to the highest quality with dual mouldings exceeding 20,000 cycles of bending life test without any physical damage on the strain relief. All snaps have a 1 meg-ohm safety resistor. Standard colour is light blue. Custom configurations and colours available on request. Premium ESD Coil Cord Specification: Conductor: Diameter is 2.5mm with 7 tinsel wires. Insulation: Coil cord is insulated with PU material. Electrical Properties: The cord conductor shall have an end to end resistance not greater than 50 ohms. Resistivity: current limiting resistance = 1 meg ohm 20%. Breakaway Force: 1 to 5lbs of pull away force is required to disconnect the snap in a normal disconnect direction. Ground Lead Extendability: Cord should return back to at least 85% of its original length in less than 10 minutes after hanging for 24 hours, with 1KG weight on the other end. Hardware: All metal parts shall show no evidence of corrosion and rust after 24 hours submersion to salt solution. Preferably made from stainless steel or brass alloy plated with nickel. Connection Integrity: The tensile strength of the end connections shall be not less than 66% of the tensile strength of the wire, and in no case shall it be less than 5 lbs. Shipping

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the contents of your cart and the shipping address. This takes into account product weight and dimensions, and whether the location being sent to is metro, regional or remote. The price will change depending on whether it is a commercial or residential address. There is an extra charge for items marked as *Dangerous Goods by the courier.

We ship to most destinations in Australia. If the checkout does not allow your shipping address, please contact us and we will see what we can do to help.

We use different couriers depending on rates and services available, including Border Express, Couriers Please and Australia Post. If you have a specific reason to use or not use a particular courier please let us know.

We will generally insure any delivery above $500, BUT;

Freight damages MUST be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery for insurance claims on damages to be realised. Where possible please inspect the delivery for external damage to the packaging, and if damage is suspected inspect the goods BEFORE signing for the delivery.

Please refuse any obviously damaged deliveries (smashed panels, dented batteries) and ask the delivery driver to return the delivery to the depot and report the damages to us ASAP.

If you have granted “Authority to leave” or missed the driver, or have your delivery made to a depot, have the receiver inspect the delivery and please report any freight damage to us directly with photos via email within 24 hours of the delivery being made.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee damages will be covered by insurance if they are reported after 24 hours from the time of delivery.

It varies greatly based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders are usually dispatched from our warehouse in Preston, VIC within 48 hours. You can use the estimates below as a rough guide for shipping time:

  • VIC and SA: 1-2 days
  • QLD and NSW: 2-3 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 3-10 days +

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have very little control over the actual shipping time. If you need a more accurate estimate of shipping time please contact us.

RETURNS

Thanks for shopping at Preston Off Grid. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • Your item needs to have a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Change of Mind returns may incur a restocking fee.

Once we receive your item:

  1. We will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.
  2. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
  3. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
  4. You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non­refundable.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

ALL requests for warranty or service MUST be lodged via our Adhesive 3gram bottle We will NOT accept any goods without an RMA being allocated to you first.

Goods that are covered by a Manufacturer’s Warranty will be eligible for a replacement or repair, at the discretion of the manufacturer.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) warranty claims must be lodged within 7 days of receiving goods. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all goods within this time period.

We do not provide replacements to cover you while your item is tested or repaired under warranty. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have sufficient backup equipment to cover them in the event of equipment failure. We highly recommend people who are living off-grid, or using our equipment for mission-critical applications, invest in backup Inverters and Solar Charge Controllers.

Freight damage claims must be lodged within 7 days of receiving goods. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all goods within this time period. We will not accept any claims outside of this time period.
