Description Durable, 2‑layer static‑dissipative ESD rubber floor material for ESD Protected Areas Bondline’s ESD Rubber Floor Material is a high‑performance, two‑layer rubber flooring designed to safely ground operators and prevent static build‑up in EPA environments. Available as full rolls or cut‑size mats, this material offers long‑lasting durability, excellent electrical performance, and compliance with IEC 61340‑5‑1 standards. This premium ESD rubber flooring is engineered to provide a reliable ground path to Earth, ensuring operators remain protected from electrostatic discharge. The black conductive bottom layer delivers a stable and consistent grounding performance, while the smooth static‑dissipative top surface allows for effortless cleaning using Killstat floor cleaner. The material is 2.5mm thick, heat‑resistant, and designed to withstand heavy use without degrading. Unlike vinyl alternatives, the rubber construction will not melt, warp, or fluctuate in ESD properties over time. To maintain full ESD protection, the flooring must be grounded via an Earth bonding point and used in conjunction with ESD heel straps or ESD footwear. Key Benefits of ESD Rubber Floor Material: Consistent ESD protection with a static‑dissipative top layer and conductive backing Highly durable rubber that won’t melt like vinyl and maintains performance in hot or cold conditions Smooth, easy‑clean surface ideal for busy workspaces Abrasion‑resistant, heat-resistant, and chair‑castor friendly (depending on substrate) Available in light or dark grey fleck for a modern, professional finish Custom sizes available to suit any EPA layout Quick installation using double‑sided tape Specification: Material: Synthetic rubber Construction: 2‑layer (static‑dissipative top, conductive bottom) Thickness: 2.5mm Colour: Light grey fleck or dark grey fleck Static dissipative top surface: 10^(6) – 10^(9) Black conductive bottom layer: 10^(3) – 10^(6) Resistance to ground: Less than 10^(9) Electrostatic dissipation time: <0.1s Scratch resistance: No clear scratch Heat resistance: Heat and solder resistant. Compliance: DIN EN 61340‑5‑1, DIN VDE 0100-410, CE, RoHS, REACH Available Sizes: BFM10 – Full roll: 1500mm (W) x 10m (L) BFM42 – Standard mat: 1200mm x 600mm with 2 × 10mm studs BFM45 – Standard mat: 1200mm x 1500mm with 2 × 10mm studs BFM58 – Standard mat: 1500mm x 2000mm with 2 × 10mm studs Custom cut sizes available on request. Installation & Maintenance Installation is quick and secure using double‑sided tape. For optimal performance, ensure the flooring is grounded to Earth and maintained regularly.
