We assist building contractors with the preparation of their CDM Documentation; Health and Safety Policy’s; Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and other specific procedures such as those so often required by Managing Agents and Management Companies who are responsible for the overall management of the buildings in which our clients are carrying out works.  If needed our Health and Safety services can be extended to provide onsite Safety Inspections and Audits of your site works to help ensure that the works are being carried out safely and in accordance with the your clients requirements. At Your Safety Advisor Ltd we specialise in Construction Safety, that’s all, nothing else – Construction and Building related Health and Safety is our area of expertise, it’s what we do! At Your Safety Advisor, we’re a relatively small company, like most of our clients are, but that means we’re responsive, we’re capable and we don’t get tied up with bureaucracy.  You’ll also get to deal with the same person from start to finish, there’s no passing the work from one person to another.  Your London Safety Advisor may be small and efficient, but don’t let that fool you, we’re also extremely competent and at the top of our game.  We hold Chartered Status not only in Health and Safety, but also in Construction and Environmental disciplines as well. So whilst others claim to be NEBOSH and IOSH Qualified, which are fairly meaningless claims, we hold real qualifications and are professionally qualified and registered with IOSH; APS; ICE; CIWEM etc.  Our Advisors are both Degree and Diploma Qualified, but in addition to qualifications, they also have real world practical construction and building industry experience and knowledge having worked on site as construction professionals; and in design offices as Engineers.  So we really do understand what you need. Furthermore we’ve not diversified in to other areas of health and safety, such as retail or manufacturing, we’ve stayed true to our roots and Your London Safety Advisor only deals with Construction and Building related Health and Safety. We work with and support all trades and professions in the construction and building sectors, including, but not limited to: Clients Contractors Builders Architects Interior Designers Surveyors Engineers Carpenters & Joiners Scaffolders Groundworkers Bricklayers/Masons Plumbing and Heating/Gas Engineers Drainage Contractors Roofing Contractors Electricians and Electrical Engineers Flooring Contractors Fit Out Contractors Dry Lining Contractors Plastering Contractors Painting and Decorating Contractors Civil Engineering contractors Utilities Contractors Project Managers Construction Managers Principal Constructors Sub-contractors Self employed Tradesmen/Sole Traders Ltd Companies, large and small We’ve worked in the Construction industry for over 30 years and we provide our Health and Safety Consultancy services to builders and contractors right across the UK as well as within London.  This is what makes us different….. we understand the construction industry, and as construction professionals having worked as construction consultants for many years, this is what helps to make us Your Safety Advisor….don’t settle for anything else. Its ultimately your responsibility to ensure you source ‘Competent’ Health and Safety Advice and support, and as with any industry not all Health and Safety Advice is equal…… So before selecting your Safety Advisor, ask yourself a few simple questions: Are they Chartered Members of IOSH and have the CMIOSH designation?  We do….. Do they have direct Construction Knowledge and Experience of working in the construction industry at an appropriate level?  We do….. Do they have appropriate Professional Health and Safety Qualifications such as a NEBOSH Diploma (or NVQ Level 6 or above)?  We do….. Do they have appropriate Construction Related Qualifications (Degree level or above)?  We do….. Do they have Chartered Membership of Professional Construction Institutions?  We do….. If your Safety Advisors cannot demonstrate compliance with these 5 simple requirements, then how can you be sure they’re competent? Your Construction Health and Safety Advisor should be able to demonstrate compliance with each of the above as a minimum requirement, but unfortunately many simply do not.  We’ve encountered everyone from Hotel Receptionists to Retail Staff to Production Workers and others, most of whom have never actually worked in the construction industry, but suddenly claim to be experts.  Worse still they’ll often be poorly qualified having completed short IOSH or NEBOSH introductory courses, which to those outside of the Health and Safety industry may look impressive, but in reality hold very little worth.  Hence anyone using NEBOSH or IOSH after their names, really are not qualified.  You should be looking for the ‘protected’ post nominals such as CMIOSH, indicating that they are a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, which our consultants all hold. It really is a case of complete your due diligence, you’ll know if you’ve completed an SSIP Accreditation for CHAS; SMAS or SafeContractor etc that they will want evidence that you’ve assessed your sub-contractors competence, but at present, few checks are ever made on the competence of your Health and Safety Advisors, but that is changing, so don’t get caught out. At Your Safety Advisor Ltd, our Construction Health and Safety Consultants cover all of Greater London and more importantly, as they come from a construction background, they’ll have worked on construction sites and will have a greater understand of how your company works and operates.  That can be priceless when giving advice and support to our clients.  But in addition to that we also hold the gold standard CMIOSH accreditation, the membership standard that IOSH recommends anyone providing Health and Safety Advice should hold, so please don’t settle for less, it could cost you dearly in the event of an incident. Furthermore, at Your London Safety Advisor, we’re here to work with you and support you!  We want to help make your business better and more successful, as well as providing a safe working environment for everyone on site.  We work in a constructive and positive way with our clients, we’ll help and guide you, offering you solutions, not problems. So if you need a competent Construction Health and Safety Consultant or Construction Safety Advisor in London or the surrounding area, or you’re simply fed up with with the poor service from your existing Health and Safety Advisor, get in touch with Your London Safety Advisor today, we’re here to help support and grow your construction business. Shipping

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the contents of your cart and the shipping address. This takes into account product weight and dimensions, and whether the location being sent to is metro, regional or remote. The price will change depending on whether it is a commercial or residential address. There is an extra charge for items marked as *Dangerous Goods by the courier.

Please note, that we are currently using Freight Exchange as a freight broker. Their terms & conditions are listed here.

We ship to most destinations in Australia. If the checkout does not allow your shipping address, please contact us and we will see what we can do to help.

We use different couriers depending on rates and services available, including Border Express, Couriers Please and Australia Post. If you have a specific reason to use or not use a particular courier please let us know.

We will generally insure any delivery above $500, BUT;

Freight damages MUST be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery for insurance claims on damages to be realised. Where possible please inspect the delivery for external damage to the packaging, and if damage is suspected inspect the goods BEFORE signing for the delivery.

Please refuse any obviously damaged deliveries (smashed panels, dented batteries) and ask the delivery driver to return the delivery to the depot and report the damages to us ASAP.

If you have granted “Authority to leave” or missed the driver, or have your delivery made to a depot, have the receiver inspect the delivery and please report any freight damage to us directly with photos via email within 24 hours of the delivery being made.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee damages will be covered by insurance if they are reported after 24 hours from the time of delivery.

It varies greatly based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders are usually dispatched from our warehouse in Preston, VIC within 48 hours. You can use the estimates below as a rough guide for shipping time:

  • VIC and SA: 1-2 days
  • QLD and NSW: 2-3 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 3-10 days +

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have very little control over the actual shipping time. If you need a more accurate estimate of shipping time please contact us.
