Construction Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) Writing Service for Builders, Contractors and Self-Employed Tradesmen Construction Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) form the cornerstone of modern health and safety on construction sites and if you’re a building company, contractor or self-employed tradesmen, the chances are that you’ve been asked to provide a construction Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) at one time or another. Furthermore, in our experience most builders and contractors either don’t have the time; knowledge or the desire to write suitable and sufficient construction Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) – that’s where we can help!  As a contractor your time is valuable and it is likely better spent on site managing your contracts, rather than at a computer preparing your RAMS. Does this sound familiar?  We fully understand the pressure that is being placed on contractors and tradesmen such as yourself to produce construction Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), so the good news is, Your Safety Advisor Ltd is here to help!  We can help by writing site specific professionally prepared construction Risk Assessments and Method Statements or RAMS, as they are often referred to, for your use on site.  With our RAMS writing service, your Risk Assessments and Method Statements will all be branded with your company name, your logo, the site address/project details of where you are working and the names of your personnel (where known) will all be detailed on each RAMS.  So, you can be assured that the RAMS we prepare for your use are professionally prepared construction Risk Assessments and Method Statements, that are relevant to your company and the specific works that you are undertaking.  Our RAMS writing service is unique, it’s a service that we specialise in and we provide high quality bespoke RAMS for your use, unlike many of the cheap downloadable RAMS documents which some companies provide to their clients/main contractors, before having them rejected as being irrelevant to what they are doing!  Need help with your RAMS – call us or send us a message today to see how our RAMS Writing Service can help and assist you. At Your Safety Advisor Ltd we do not send out poor quality, generic construction Risk Assessments and Method Statements – aka RAMS. We take the time and put in the effort by doing the hard work preparing your RAMS so you don’t have to.  With our help, you can then concentrate on managing and implementing the building or construction works, rather than sitting at a computer stressing about what your RAMS need to include.  Your Safety Advisor Ltd has over 20 years experience of preparing and writing Risk Assessments and Method Statements RAMS for builders, contractors, and self-employed tradesmen in just about every construction related industry.  We know what’s required to satisfy even the most demanding clients and other Safety Advisors who may be reviewing your RAMS!  So, if you need a construction Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) to be prepared/written for a current project, or for a SafeContractor, SMAS or CHAS SSIP application, just give us a call or send us an email to find out more about our Risk Assessment and Method Statement writing service – you won’t be disappointed with the RAMS that we prepare. Method Statements are also referred to as a ‘Safe Systems of Work’ or SSW and the requirement for both Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work have been enshrined in UK Health and Safety Legislation since before the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.  Newer regulations such as the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM Regulations), plus other regulations have further reinforced the need for companies to prepare and work with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Furthermore, the law requires that all potentially hazardous works must be risk assessed and where the company employs 5 or more persons, these risk assessments MUST be recorded in writing. Your Safety Advisor Ltd understands the difficulties that that Risk assessment and Method Statement preparation can place onto construction-based businesses, particularly small contractors and self-employed tradesmen who really do not have the time, or the desire to sit down and write the required Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).  Additionally, as companies become more aware of their own health and safety responsibilities, more and more clients and main contractors are refusing to allow their sub-contractors to carry out any site work, until a satisfactory construction Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS), detailing exactly how the works will be safely undertaken has been supplied and approved.  So where in the past a piece of paper with Risk Assessment or Method Statement written across the top may have sufficed, this is no longer going to be acceptable and your RAMS will be reviewed in depth. This means that your construction Risk Assessments and Method Statements need to be right, or you risk losing the contract or facing a delay in getting your payments. When it comes to preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements, competence is important and being able to demonstrate your competence to others before you even start work is now an important consideration for most clients and main contractors.  Having professionally written Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) can therefore go a long way to help demonstrate to your clients that you are a professional and competent contractor.  It has therefore never been so important to get your RAMS right and get them right first time!  Don’t settle for second rate RAMS, get the professional help and assistance you need to help propel your company forward. Health and Safety Law requires that Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are ‘suitable and sufficient‘, so simply recycling an old document and changing the title or purchasing a £15 downloadable template is simply not going to be sufficient.  Plus, if you’re providing a cheap generic document downloaded from the internet, then you can be sure that most clients will have seen it before and will have already rejected it (many times) before. So don’t leave it to chance, speak to a Competent Construction Safety Advisor at Your Safety Advisor Ltd and let us take care of your Health and Safety needs. At Your Safety Advisor Ltd we will prepare detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), these documents will be specific to your company, the site you are working on and the task that you are undertaking.  All of our method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) are prepared by experienced and competent Chartered Construction Safety specialists, so you can be assured that the risk assessments and method statements prepared for your use will be accepted and get you on site quickly without any unnecessary delays. Because all of our RAMS are bespoke and prepared specifically for you, we will need to contact you and ask about exactly what it is you need, we’ll also need you to supply some simple background information about your company and the site you are working on.  Furthermore, if you want your company logo shown on the Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS), then we can also add that to the documents, you just need to email us a copy of your logo with the other information we need – it really is that simple!  We do all the hard work preparing your RAMS, and we will ensure that the RAMS include the necessary content/details before emailing you your completed Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).  You can then either print it off or just forward the RAMS by email to your client. We can write and prepare Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) for any construction or building related tasks and we cover all trades, just let us know what you need. Please ensure that you change the quantity when placing an online order to reflect the number of RAMS you need.  For example, the following list shows a small selection of the Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) that we can write/prepare for your use, they will be site specific and prepared specifically for you. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee damages will be covered by insurance if they are reported after 24 hours from the time of delivery.

It varies greatly based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders are usually dispatched from our warehouse in Preston, VIC within 48 hours. You can use the estimates below as a rough guide for shipping time:

  • VIC and SA: 1-2 days

  • NT, WA and TAS: 3-10 days +

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have very little control over the actual shipping time. If you need a more accurate estimate of shipping time please contact us.
