I went alllll in and was hoping I wasn’t making a mistake! This product was completely worth the extra money. I LOVE this thing. It’s easy to use, to clean, and it does a great job of adding fizz. I’ve been using it nearly daily for a month. You receive a bottle that you attach to the infuser cap, then slide the capped bottle into the OmniFizz and infuse carbonation. I keep two empty half gallon juice bottles in the fridge (filled with water) so that I always have cold water ready. Sometimes I want to make enough to fill the pretty plain glass bottles I bought on Amazon that have steel screw-on lids with gaskets that keep it fizzy. [Epica 18-Oz. Glass Water Bottles with Lids, Juice Bottles – BPA Free & Eco-Friendly Reusable Refillable Bottles for Juicing, Set of 6 – Clear]If I make extra, I’ll fill the glass bottles with the fizzied liquid and store them in the fridge; the fizz stays good for at least two days (haven’t tried longer).I use sugar-free syrups and that Pink Lotus half-gallon of sugar-free caffeine. See pics. I buy them at a Cash and Carry; they have a huge selection. The syrups are $5-6 dollars each, the Lotus is like, $30?? I remember gulping about the price, but thankfully, it turns out I prefer a fraction as much as the bottle recommends. I was inspired to do this whole thing because my favorite coffee shop came up with a new fizzy summer drink and it includes syrups and lotus.I fill cold water to the lines on the included bottle and then use the same marks to measure the added flavored syrup and lotus. It was fun to realize I preferred much less syrup and carbonation. After I add the fizz, I shake the bottle as the instructions indicate (it does make a difference), bleed the air pressure with the levers on the infuser cap, and then put the regular gasket cap (provided for the infused bottle) and take it to the table with me while I work and enjoy my sugar-free soda. Before I enjoy, though, I give the “fizz infuser cap” (used to infuse the bottle with carbonation), a really good rinse in the sink, shake it out, then store it where the machine holds it for carbonation process. What a treat this is! And I still have so much of the syrups left! And I can always infuse water and add fruit to the glass bottles. Pretty. Also, I read a couple reviews that said there was some kind of scammy thing about returning CO2 bottles to get refills for carbonation. Huh. The CO2 bottles came in a box that you use to return them. They even provide a label to put on the box to return them. Contact info. Everything. You don’t have to pay for shipping. It doesn’t seem like they could make it any easier. I’m sounding like a commercial, but reviews sway me and I want to assure those of you thinking of taking the plunge and treating yourselves, that this will be lovely. Enjoy!
