Milk Thermometer – Make The Perfect Coffee or Espresso – Coffee Accessories – Easy & Quick Clean Up

This is very handy for a new barista. My wife was a barista for 16 years and noticed immediately that I was scorching (slightly) the milk I was steaming for lattes. She told me they got good at just using their hand to gauge temperature and only used the thermometer for new hires during training at her old job. I want to do latte art and balancing the right texture with temperature (so it tastes good as well) is a challenge so I’m using this to help out for now. Checked against my digital instant read from Thermopop (no clip to hold it though) it’s plenty accurate but a little laggy since it’s mechanical (no more than others).
