The girder works very well – but only for very small quantities of dry items (spices etc). it is not recommended for wet ingredients – given that there is no electric motor I tried taking that risk but it did’t function well as all the stuff gets accumulated on the sides and do not mix properly. For dry spices etc this is a great grinder – if you have any other expectations look elsewhere
