Brod & Taylor Coffee & Spice Grinder | Quiet Electric Stainless Steel, Removable 10oz Cup

I do not drink coffee, so have not tried coffee beans in this grinder, but I do use it to grind chia seeds and it is PERFECT ! I tried several other brands, which really did not work well for grinding chia seeds – they were noisy to very noisy, or overheated easily, or did not have a removable cup, or worked oddly – some had to be pushed down to grind and were sometimes hard to engage, and others that had a push button and a removable cup lacked the cover to hold in the cup what was being ground and the grindings went all over the interior and spilled onto the counter when opened, or the cover had to be pushed into position before the grinder worked and then the cover was hard to remove. Then I found this grinder – for some reason it had not come up in previous searches, but this time there it was. Offered by a small company in Massachusetts, with a one year warranty, upped to a three year warranty if you register your product with them, whose philosophy is: “We believe products can make impacts outside of our homes. That’s why a portion of Brød & Taylor sales help fund José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen and their mission to help communities and economies using the power of food.”, and it had really good reviews, so I ordered it and am I glad I did!!!! It is WONDERFUL! The stainless steel 10 oz cup and blade are quality, work well, are easy to clean, and quickly and easily grind my chia seeds to a sand consistency. The cover for the cup just sits on top of the cup and when in place and the grinder lid is closed, there is an easy to push button on the top front of the grinder and all that is ground stays in the cup. It is not silent, but it is certainly quiet for a grinder. And on top of it all, it looks very nice sitting on my counter top. Although I have not had it long, I have used it often, and have faith that I will continue to do so, especially as it is supported by a company which offers a generous warranty. I am so very glad that I found this grinder and like it so much that I gave it five times as part of a Christmas Gift Kit for making chocolate chia pudding.
